Philips SpeechLive App Update: V1.2.0
The all-new Philips SpeechLive app effortlessly integrates with the SpeechLive cloud-based dictation solution, allowing users to send files securely to a typist from any location.
The V1.2.0 update brings a host of improvements to the app, as detailed below...
Automatic pausing and saving on an incoming call
If you are interrupted by a telephone when dictating on the new SpeechLive app, the recording will automatically pause and save. At the end of your telephone call, you can simply resume the recording from where you left off with no danger of loosing any previous work.
Background recording
The SpeechLive App V1.2.0 update now allows users to record whilst the app is running in the background, meaning that you no longer have to pause and resume recordings when browsing other documents and information on your device.
Automatic saving
Even if the app crashes during recording, any work recorded will be saved automatically. When you reopen the app, you will be prompted to keep or discard any changes made to the recording.
New sending options
New sending options are now available in the app, including; send to transcriptionist, send to speech to text and send to the transcription service.
Transcription preview
No matter how your dictations are transcribed (manually, automatically or via the SpeechLive Transcription Service) the available transcription can now be previewed within the app directly. The previews are available in .RTF, .DOCX and .PDF file formats. Dictations with available transcriptions are listed in the main screen under the 'finished' tab.
