The DS-9500 is the new hero product in the Olympus product portfolio of mobile dictation devices for professionals who want to turn speech into text easy, anytime and anywhere.
Thanks to its capability of sending dictations in an email via Wi-Fi and the support of audio codecs like PCM and MP3 it is very easy to get dictations sent to any dictation workflow software or speech recognition software.
For dictation sending via email from the DS-9500, please note that Microsoft 365 email addresses (for the sender/from email address) are not supported. Please feel free to call on 0121 456 7800 for more information.

Since you can send the dictations via Wi-Fi at any time, the device does not need to be physically connected to the docking station anymore. |

Our tests confirmed that the DS-9500 continues its recording when falling off a desk and survived the tests without any impairments (drop tested up to 1.5m). Also, the coating is alcohol resistant, allowing you to clean the device hygienically. |

Excellent machine and great service
Having decided to upgrade from my old and slightly battered tape machine, this is the first digital machine that I have owned. The set up was easy and I used it for my clinic today and was able to use the WiFi feature to send an email to my secretary with the dictated letter after seeing each patient. The service from Speak IT was great too and the parcel arrived as promised with good communication about timings.
The perfect DVR for a mobile worker
The DS-9500 is the ideal DVR for mobile workers.. Recording information and sending securely and efficiently via email and my mobile hotspot means my files are ready to be transcribed before I get back to the office. I am even using Dragon for background speech recognition now!!! High quality microphones and an easy to use interface result in me recording more and more information rather than typing up notes on my laptop or iPad at interviews or meetings. In my opinion the Olympus DS-9500 is perfect and performs at the highest level in terms of reliability and quality.

The all new Olympus DS-9500 offers a variety of intuitive features and a wide range of workflow functionality. The team here at Dictaphone have just had a chance to get our hands on this kit to put it through the test. Our first thoughts? Fantastic! This new product launches just in time to a developing market of mobile users; Authors who need to have secure and fast dictation solutions at the palm of their hand. With the ability to connect directly through WiFi or through a personal Hotspot, dictation can be sent securely directly from the device. The DS-9500 will inevitability open up new potential for Olympus' existing users as well as pave the way for upcoming modules which will allow even more productivity!
