OM System (previously, Olympus) have undertaken substantial investment and development in producing future-proof solutions for the modern workforce. With older software versions becoming EOL, here's what to expect from the new ODMS Cloud solution, releasing in April 2024.

Ease of use

With central management and a streamlined and modern UX, ODMS Cloud will be the current replacement for legacy ODMS software versions. Users can upload from a supported Olympus DS machine (along with the new Olympus DS-9100 and DS-2700 machines coming soon), or via the new ODMS Cloud dictation app for iOS and Android. 

Seamless Experience

With the new ODMS Cloud solution, users can expect a seamless experience, whether working remotely out of the office, or within their office environments. Onboarding and setup is quick and simple, with a clean user interface available for all users.

Advanced Routing

Administrators can easily configure workflow within the ODMS Cloud Browser App. Each author can be individually assigned to the relevant transcriptionist(s). Customised routing will also be available, by using specific work-types and teams. Document templates can be configured based on each workflow setting. 

Unified Licensing

Both the smartphone app and supported Olympus DS-machines will be usable with a single author user login. 

Secure Online Storage

Audio files are stored securely via OM Cloud servers - no need to maintain local storage and servers. Administrators will still have the option to back-up files locally.

New iOS/Android App

The new app will offer a streamlined interface, with the ability to seamlessly integrate into the organisation's workflow via directly uploading recordings to the cloud - authors will be able to monitor dictation status on the fly, with the same file/edit functionality of the previous build.
